​Exelis Precision Structures offers an array of unique testing capabilities to model and simulate real-world environments, and validate or certify designs. Testing capabilities include:

  • Thermal vacuum and Thermal cycle testing: High vacuum chambers up to 38’ x 68’. Exelis provides extensive TVAC testing capabilities, with more than 40 chambers ranging in volume from 0.9 to 80,000 cubic feet.  Several test chambers are in Class 1,000 clean room environments and provide extreme thermal range capacities from -253°C to +210°C.
  • EMI Testing: Mil-STD-461 testing in a Class 1000 cleanroom
  • Component and materials testing

Contamination control, electrostatics, thermal vacuum bake-out and precision cleaning are also included in the system readiness evaluation.
